Don't underestimate regular "polarized" lenses though, cuts out the glare so the eyes don't overreact to bright objects, giving better contrast.
Yes, 'polarized' lenses might be what you are looking for?Tbf I'm not thinking of standard photochromatic, I'm sure there are lenses that reduce the contrast of light dark light etc. So you can see better going through the trees on a bright day.
