Just call me Chris...
Another vote here for the tour 'd sheppey! (that made me smile as I actually have that name logged as one of my cyclogs routes)

It's nice and flat and a surprisingly nice ride.

Flat cycle rides around that area you say... Sounds good to me.

Well we shall have to arrange a short tour of the routes for me when I move in October.

Cheers for all the suggestions.

Hi, know this is a old thread but seemed the right place to ask. I live in Sittingbourne and just got back into cycling last May and looking for a buddy to cycle with. Still getting my fitness back at the moment, which is hard with our new son! I only do about 10-20 miles normally and most hills still hate me :smile:but if there is anyone out there interested let me know !

Grove Park eh? I'm just around the corner in Homewood Ave

If you're looking for Sunday rides try the guys who meet up at Victory Cycles in Rainham @10:00hrs on a Sunday. Alternatively there's a group who meet up at the old Post Office @09:00hrs in Canterbury on a Sunday.

Currently I'm aiming to complete rides at a minimum of 45miles so probably not the best person to ride with! Good luck in your search

PS Hills hate me too!!!

Hi Chrisz thanks ever so much. Once i get my confidence up a little more i may just tag along with them. I hoping soon ill be doing longer riders as really want to explore the countryside around here. Currently just going upto Biknor and then back around via Highstead, slowly increasing the loop every couple of weeks

Glad its not just me with the hills lol!

I can recommend the CTC Swale group. I have done some rides with them and they have rides of varying sizes starting in Sittingbourne. They are very friendly and have made me welcome.
