yep it is and il be taking it in on thursday but the LBS it to far away to walk back and they say they cant do it while I wait so I'l have to wait until my mum can pick me up (thursday)

Anyone know if I can ride it in the mean time?

When I bought my Giant my LBS told me to keep an eye on the BB because they tend to be a bit shoddy. He said he'd done BB warranty jobs on about 15% of the Giants he'd sold in the last couple of years.

The problem you can get, if you're not careful, is that it comes totally loose and the bearings fall out. Then you're stuffed. I'd get it fixed before venturing too far afield. I had to ring the missus many years ago (before mobile phones) and ask her to come and rescue me after all the bearings scattered everywhere and the cranks were all over the show. A stitch in time and all that ;o)

it takes me under 10 mins to remove and fit a bottom bracket in my lounge

and thats after a couple of pints and while watching stand up comedy!

just picked it up, they didnt tell me what was wrong just that they replaced the BB and it was covered on the warranty so im happy!
