Did he expect the car to just plow into the parked cherry picker?.

Probably, or perhaps because this was a left hand drive car and the motorcyclist was on the outside in view of the car mirror, he probably thought that the car would allow him to overtake. Obviously, the motorcyclist shouldn't have made that assumption.

Ive seen this one too and also one of a guy on a motorcycle who was almost knocked off in a similar fashion then flicked the drivers mirror clean off in a similar way.

I think everybody who rides a bike thinks up some terrible vengeance for the motorist who nearly just killed them. On the very rare occasions when it happens to me, I try and limit it to disgustingly obscene language. If you start knocking bits off their precious car, you will probably end up in court with a charge of criminal damage.....and the magistrate won't really care about the homicidal driving that led you to get all arsey.

I don't think that Russian motorcycle tests are as rigorous as ours. That biker appeared to lack a few basic skills.
