You can get ones for ambient temperature thermostats as well if the bike already has a clock (useful if he rides in the winter)

They are unlikely going to do a track day on one, so apart from a road/camping trip, there is little else you can do with them :biggrin:

They do have meeting at the Ace cafe which will be very well attended as well as this 'Hogging the Bridge' over the new Severn crossing in October IIRC

Is he a newbie or Born Againer? If so maybe a day's advanced rider training. Not cheap but could just keep him alive.
