Nope it's genuine.....it says so on the label

Near enough is good enough.

That is actually true in a more profound sense than it's usually taken. If you are building a wall, than plus or minus 5mm is likely fine, but regrinding a crankshaft the you are aiming to get it within a thou'. Now if you're doing optical work the your target is 1/10th of a wavelenght of light. And doing better than these targets is simply pointless and a waste of effort and resources
