As much as I'm glad that an ad like that get s published (with a British cyclist!), I still wish Nike would just stop pouring all their sweatshop cost savings into ludicrous levels of sponsorship. I'd love to see a professional athlete take an ethical stand on this.

Oh and congratulations on the GCSE's, forget about A-Levels and all that, GCSE's are the most important exams you will ever take IMO. At 21, it was my GCSE results that got me in to Uni more than the A-levels, I had friends who had to retake maths/English/Science GCSEs for some courses regardless of their A levels and if you don't continue in education they will fulfil most requirements for entry into apprenticeships or just about any worthwhile job - nobody is interested in the wasters who couldn't even scrape a few C grades. With good results across a range of subjects they demonstrate a fairly rounded individual.
Right, now go have a great couple of weeks over-indulging in whatever your poison may be before your next port-of-call in life

The ad itself I really like, but I do agree with you on that stand, and it would be nice to see someone take a stand on this as well, and we can turn that to alot of other huge companies unfortunatly.

Sadly ... its Tuesday that i start College so I only have a few days until I go back into the usual education.

Hi Kovu, to get back to motivation, I find signing up to Cyclogs has helped me when I am swithering about going out for a leisure trip. It's free, you can set your own targets and see your results on a graph, as well as the mileage (or Km) covered by others. You could also join Team CycleChat on there and help boost the miles!

Some of you know how bad I struggle with motivating myself to get out on the bike but i have now found the motivation, even if it is abit odd....
Let me guess. Was it anything to do with that guy on the bike you were eyeing up when you were in the back of that car?!

Yeh, that site isnt easy. Hoping to be back in 2nd place by the end of the month:biggrin: 2nd week back, 412miles done(ish, theres another 50/60 to go on, but i wasnt sure, didnt have a computer on the fixed then)
Too much time spent on the bike:biggrin:
You should follow that guy on the bike, you will do more miles then, and probably faster, think of the motivation.
