Moser Bikes Speed Sora 2013 - Thoughts?

hi all

been looking at a £500 road bike and have found this bike: http://www.wiggle.co.uk/moser-bikes-speed-sora-2013/

the specs are impressive, carbon fork, sora and fulcrum wheelset for £488

just wanted to know your thoughts? is there anything out there that is better value for money?

I can only comment on the Alexrim S500's that came on my Secteur and they were utter garbage. Constantly going out of true and I am not overweight or anything. Wheels on entry level bikes are often crap, at least you will probably be able to find plenty of opinions regarding the Fulcrum 7's, I doubt it with the Alexrim's.

Does it have the 2012 or 2013 Sora - i.e. with / without thumb button?

I thought the Moser had 2013 Sora, well looking at the pics anyway. Could always email Wiggle to make sure. That Merlin bike looks like older Sora with thumb shifters, again just going off pictures.

I can confirm that this has the new 2013 shifters where both gear changers are built into the brake levers.

Pretty much lose 20-30% on any new bike and then a % thereafter

ive just gone for the Moser

after days of looking I couldn't find a bike that was better value for money

i ordered the 52cm, hope its the right size, im 173cm tall, 31" inside leg

will post pics when it arrives hopefully later on in the week

Seriously considering one of these myself, though the size I need (58 cm) is out of stock until the end of July!

Probably when I'll be fit to do longer rides after my 'off' anyway

its weird because i fit 54cm Btwin Tribans, 51cm Halford Carraras and according to the size chart for Moser on Wiggle i fall into the 52cm size

when you order at Wiggle they ask for your height and inside leg at checkout so hopefully they will come back to me if they think the size is wrong
