Commendable shunt

My initial instinct was Morningtown Ride - The Seekers ….Poo…. wrong thread,

I will call your shut giving me a straight line to

Liverpool Street

Kop for that …..

(Breaks out in to “You’ll never Walk alone“ in the style of a Glasgow pub singer, I love lunch times with Mrs Trellis and Sam)

Barnet,
I'll see your shunt at Liverpool Street, and raise your shunt with the crossover, (under the 1933 Southgate rules) at Kings Cross. Take that.

With which song may ask? Hold on...... thread confusion, sorry its the Superbrew with Calvados chasers kicking in, Mrs T likes a tipple at lunch and it would be rude not too....

back into play.......Impish, with a touch of devilment I think. However you forgot that it is Thursday afternoon, time for marmalade sandwhiches.

As a retort to members who confuse double shunt with double shuts (mentionning the aforementionned member before me), I venture with
Finchley Road.

Oh dear.
Caught me on the hop there . Thats the sort of move I would have expected from Herr von Spinkeltinkelspathausen - Jones, my old duelling instructor. I'll never forget the look on his face after I did for him in Munich in '66.... sorry rambling.....

I am unable to avoid obfuscation and circumvention, and while wishing to invite an eminent member to join us, please use the Stumfpgleis addendum and trunkcation to change at Oxford Circus for Elephant and Castle.

Interesting use of the double-back, side twizzle without a platform change and I can see your laterial logic. E&C .......has to be the Hougoumont switchback, Napoleon loved this move it was nearly the undoing of the Duke at the anglo-french showdown on 18 June 1815

Utilising a set of seven carriages ecs, and Barrington-Morgan Farelly syndrome this brings me directly in the direction of Mornington Crescent.

:biggrin::angry:

The cartographical challengements of this connundrum are subliminated when the party of the first part has loaded down the enlargement of said cartograph in the form of largely large diagrams. This is turn reduces the painment in the cranial cavity and muchly changing of the spectacle visionary aids.

So you are putting on your beer goggles and joining me in the virtual buffet car for a liitle sherry and a polite chat about the ethics of utilising the original Yalta agreement of station division based on Stalins ethos of take it all and let them eat cake if they do not like it. All are welcome of course, please announce yourselves on arrival.

No, Satans Budgie, you are erroneous. I shall join you in the Buffet for a Fireman's  late supper. A large and cold alcolholic drink hic and a large burgher of the proper beef, with farmhouse bread, and the odd chiplated potato. Followed preferablement with more of aforesaid large cold alcoholic refreshment.
