I'm real, and I cycle (though not much in Nov. and Dec. ) due to weather prevailing and re worked shifts. Does that make me a real cyclist?

I've done more miles this year than posts...but not in the past three months. Most shameful.

Definitely more posts than miles, especially in the last 6 months and the next 3 or 4.

Oh no you're not!
You cannot consider yourself to be a seriouse(?) cyclist if you will insist on sticking a laughing smiley on the end of your posts.

(13.5 miles each way commute, I'd have to spend all day typing!)

I cycle.
I tend to only cycle when I can and when it isn't too cold or wet and when it isn't too far to go and there is somewhere to secure my bike. More often then not I am on the trainer rather then the road and so I have two bikes (and several part built bikes). But I do only do short boring rides that get me from here to somewhere close and so there is nothing to say about it. I'm not interested in touring, racing, clubs, or attempting my 70mile round trip commute.
I know a bit about fixing bikes and I am building a recumbent but where I have been stuck and asked, there hasn't been much response so I tend to read a book instead of asking or wait until someone else asks and then read their replies. Not fussed about that as I don't do enough miles to wear much out.

I definately ride less then I post, post less then I drive and drive less then I work.
Does it really matter? I hope not, unless people like me are not wanted in this community. Cyclists are, and should be, a varied bunch.

I don't know, as none of my bikes have a computer to tell me how far I've been.
I reckon I put some good miles in though, as Sheffields's pretty hilly. This begs the question, "Do posts count more when you're heading uphill?"
