thanks redbike i see what you mean about doing some better mileage, i can hold a good speed for probably up to 50miles then
i think i may struggle and in a race i would then more likely hit the wall.
i haven't got any training plans at all and want to develop some over the winter months when out on the bike.
i have always been a good standard of fitness with playing basketball for years so have a good base to start with and i am
slight frame of 5ft 11" and weigh 11 stone 4 lb, down from 13 stone 2 at Xmas.
yeah the reason behind a sportive was the non competitive side but to be timed over a course and then build on it.
is there any good places for ideas on training plans.
