Also nothing to do with the topic, but working on a till in a supermarket long after England had got rid of pound notes but when Scotland still had them, I gave change for a fiver to a bloke who'd handed me a Scottish pound note and only realised when i handed it to another customer, presuming it was a fiver
Update, I was in Derry today to buy something and I asked the cashier if they'd accept them and the she said no problem as they are perfectly legal until September so that's three gone, two to go.
