Monday para mi is a defrocked early day. In hospital via c-cold bus before 8am. Been through the plumbing fix op, back now in the start / end ward as they keep checking on my recovery, was under general anaesthetic so... Feeling ok. Had my first coffee and a tuna mayo sandwich. Bit of bleeding going on but 🤞 that stops. Surgeon will come and chat with me before I get to escape, in a couple of hours time or so. Friend will come and collect me, take me home. Doubt I'll be doing much activity wise for rest of the day!

Hope that all goes well 'Loon.

More mixed jobs today, mostly just tinkering in the shed. Spent some time cleaning up some old garden tools that had been left to go a bit rusty, then finished reassembly of a bike for trainer duty. Did a nice easy route on it today to get the legs moving.

Back to getting up to get into town while it's dark again - for a while, at least. Slept well after yesterday's little ride round the lanes as we did put a bit of effort in. Luverly day for a ride though.

Now sitting scoffing sarnis while torturing numbers until they tell me what I want to hear.

Afternoon
Bit of a slow start today, fixed the back gate and had sit in the sun. Might go for a ride in a bit.

And home. Queasy reading medical stuff? Then look away now.

Surgeon found internals rather complicated, 5cm length of tubing closed down. Seems body does body things, healing narrows things down. Couldn't get his camera wire through to bladder, so cut look cut... hence the bleeding. And due to the previous colon puncture events, internal body parts will have moved from normal position, can't risk external poke around, don't want another intestinal rip, hence all inside. Cathetered up now, rerun of the procedure in couple of months, see if things have stabilised.

Life eh? Well, it is life rather than.

Hey 'Loon, sorry things didn't go as planned. These body things we inhabit are quite weird and fickle things. The guts and plumbing really don't like being messed with apparently. Sounds like the cautious approach is the best in your case. At least with a catheter you won't suffer dick-drip.

Yeah, good luck 'Loon.

[mundane this innit?... hello...]

@sungod @PhotoNic69 I was trusting you guys would kick something off. This is a poor show. I thought I had missed this, the Monday incarnation in the thread proliferation and expansion dept. .
I was in here too. Damn.

Not prostate related, haven't had that situation develop as yet. Is that me tempting fate?
This is consequence of tissue damage when I was in emergency with the burst colon, peritonitis, sepsis etc. Seems the body does body things in healing as in narrowing down the urethra tubing, in this case to an almost total block over 5cm length. Hence the cut, check, cut... Bleeding seems to have stopped now 🤞
