I had my first fly back in February when we had a couple of hot days. Fortunately, it went straight down without hitting the back of my throat. It's not a nice sensation to have something big and hairy wriggling in your mouth. Other people may have a different viewpoint.

Ah, you beat me to it! I forgot to start a thead last week aboout consuming my first airborne insect whilst cycling... in-flight refuelling!

I was thinking of starting an insect-in-eye/s thread. It usually happens to those of us who dont wear glasses As long as they dont go in my eye/s, then im not too bothered.

A big bee did fly into the side of my head the other day though!. That hurt a little.

I once had a bee in my nose... came very quckly into my nose got out as fast as it came in, but left a terrible feeling... headache, felt like if my left side of my head (and brain) was paralized for a few minutes!!!

Bloody hell, how did they get in there? I thought the odd fly was bad enough

I was going at a snail's pace at the time.
