While listening to a Rolling Stones CD in my car yesterday I thought of the lyrics to Bitch, as it was playing. I've always had it down as "Just ate a hot meat pie", thinking that probably wouldn't be correct, but it'll be close. On looking it up when I got home I found I wasn't that far off with my "hot meat pie" being horse meat pie. I kind of knew it wouldn't be hot meat pie as Jagger likes to sing in a southern states drawl and about places like Louisiana, Detroit, New York etc etc, so I doubt a plate meat pie with chips and mushy peas would be part of such places staple diet.

The Pie Minister used to tour with the Stones to cater, including pies. Might just be an urban legend from Bristol
