While listening to a Rolling Stones CD in my car yesterday I thought of the lyrics to Bitch, as it was playing. I've always had it down as "Just ate a hot meat pie", thinking that probably wouldn't be correct, but it'll be close. On looking it up when I got home I found I wasn't that far off with my "hot meat pie" being horse meat pie. I kind of knew it wouldn't be hot meat pie as Jagger likes to sing in a southern states drawl and about places like Louisiana, Detroit, New York etc etc, so I doubt a plate meat pie with chips and mushy peas would be part of such places staple diet. :okay:

"I'm feeling drunk, juiced up and sloppy
Ain't touched a drink all night
And I'm hungry, can't see the reason
Just ate a horse meat pie, alright".......

The Pie Minister used to tour with the Stones to cater, including pies. Might just be an urban legend from Bristol
