Just watched the women's.
AVV looks like a shadow of her former self.
This supposed fall out between Vollering and Kopecky wasn't much on show. They seemed quite chuffed with 1-2. At the time I thought Kopecky had blown her second place in the sprint with an early celebration. But I'm an idiot. And she hadn't.
Got to say neither race was particularly thrilling. I spent the day trying and failing to get the garden into some kind of shape, so it's not like they had much competition for my attention.

Yes and somewhat mystifyingly, Eurosport cancelled the women's highlights due to slow snooker but still showed highlights of Pog's victory lap.
The women's race was clearly more interesting but I'm still glad I went for a ride instead of watching live!

Tao takes the stage win after a final battle with Huge Carthy 😁....Hugh ended up third on the stage after Felix Gall for AG2R.
Big pull by G to bring him there and catch Haig who made a brace solo effort...but credit where it's due Tao looked pretty comfortable on the final climb and win.

Pogačar hasn't got a Flèche Wallonne win yet. Surely even he can't enjoy the Mur de Huy? It's the sort of hill that's difficult to walk up as it changes between crazily steep and insanely steep and back a few times.

Lizzie Deignan is coming back from maternity for Fleche as well. I believe she was supposed to be starting at Liege, but Trek called her up a few days earlier due to lack of numbers? I'm a big Deignan fan so this is very exciting for me.
