Who passes other vehicles within a Zebra crossing Zig-Zag?

HC Rule 191 ...You MUST NOT overtake the moving vehicle nearest the crossing or the vehicle nearest the crossing which has stopped to give way to pedestrians.

Perfectly OK to pass vehicles on the zig-zag, unless one of the above applies - so you can pass queuing traffic, just don't pass the one nearest the zebra if there's anybody crossing or about to cross - but then you'd stop anyway!

I often overtake traffic in zig-zags on my motorbike - causes plenty of outrage, which makes it all the satisfying!

Come on, own up...

Who cuts across mini islands when there's no traffic about?
Nope, I am a good little boy

And...

Who shortcuts down a short one-way street?
Kind of done this once, I was cycling from Brighton station to the Levels, the choice was to either negotiate Queen's Road and North Road or to cut through the last few meters of Trafalgar street. Anyway I decided not to ride it, but push my bike instead.

Who goes around central bollards to overtake?
Nope

Who rides through 'hashed' sections of road?
Generally try to avoid it, mainly because of the detritus that lurks in that part of the road.

Who rides along stretches of trunk road where a sign says "Unsuitable for cyclists"?
Never seen any.

Who stops on a double yellow line to check their route map?
I have on occasions stopped on double yellows.

Who passes other vehicles within a Zebra crossing Zig-Zag?
I avoid doing this as it presents other hazards to both myself and the pedestrians using the crossing.

Who rides at 13 mph in a City Centre 10 mph limit?
I ride at a speed that I determine to be safe for the conditions. Having said that I have given it a bit of stick along one of those shared spaces cos' I was in a bit of a hurry to catch a train.

Who overtakes a bus as it's leaving a bus stop?
Something I won't do deliberately as there is no guarantee that the driver has seen me.

Mini Islands - I thought you were talking about small land masses with sea around! I like the Calf of Man, nothing to do with mens legs but for those who don't know a small island just off the coast of the Isle of Man, near to Port Erin. Gorgeous!

1) what road users don't?
2) I cut across one in particular when there is traffic about so the idiot behind doesn't try and fit a car/van & a bike between the pinch point that's not wide enough for an articulated lorry.

Who shortcuts down a short one-way street?
no

Who goes around central bollards to overtake?
not me, though I will go the wrong side of the road passed those stupid white bumps in the middle of the road if there's a car turning left

Who rides through 'hashed' sections of road?
Not really.

Who rides along stretches of trunk road where a sign says "Unsuitable for cyclists"?
I've never seen these signs, so not knowingly.

Who stops on a double yellow line to check their route map?
what's a route map?

Who passes other vehicles within a Zebra crossing Zig-Zag?
More interesting is who doesn't?

Who rides at 13 mph in a City Centre 10 mph limit?
I tend to do a little over 20 in 20 limits in primary (& still get cars overtaking me)

Who overtakes a bus as it's leaving a bus stop?
I don't have suicidal tendencies thanks
