Come on, own up...

Who cuts across mini islands when there's no traffic about?

And...

Who shortcuts down a short one-way street?

Who goes around central bollards to overtake?

Who rides through 'hashed' sections of road?

Who rides along stretches of trunk road where a sign says "Unsuitable for cyclists"?

Who stops on a double yellow line to check their route map?

Who passes other vehicles within a Zebra crossing Zig-Zag?

Who rides at 13 mph in a City Centre 10 mph limit?

Who overtakes a bus as it's leaving a bus stop?

We know it's YOU! ;)

Depends on the trajectory I need to take. I might, but I'd be very wary of doing so in the wet, white paint being slippy. I tend to corner cautiously at the best of times

And...

Who shortcuts down a short one-way street?
no

Who goes around central bollards to overtake?
no, what sort of idiot do you think I am?

Who rides through 'hashed' sections of road?
only this morning I found myself in a hatched bit on a corner waiting to turn left, and ticked myself off

Who rides along stretches of trunk road where a sign says "Unsuitable for cyclists"?
no, if it's unsuitable, it's probably horrible. That said, I can't recall any such signs around here.

Who stops on a double yellow line to check their route map?
I probably have. If I'm going to be more than a second, I'll get off and on the pavement. But do double yellows apply to bikes? I wouldn't stop right on a corner for example, but might on a straight bit.

Who passes other vehicles within a Zebra crossing Zig-Zag?
no

Who rides at 13 mph in a City Centre 10 mph limit?
never seen such a limit myself, but I'd ride at what seemed a safe pace. How would I know my actual speed, on my uncomputered bikes?

Who overtakes a bus as it's leaving a bus stop?
no, unless it only started to indicate and pull out after I was starting to pass it, in which case I don't see what I could do different

Only sometimes it seems..

I'm guilty of doing those things sometimes.

Who cuts across mini islands when there's no traffic about? Sometimes if they're poorly designed.

And...

Who shortcuts down a short one-way street? I don't short cuts down one way street but I've been caught out and went down them.

Who goes around central bollards to overtake? Occasionally when traffic is gridlocked and its been safe I've went the wrong side of a bollard.

Who rides through 'hashed' sections of road? As before when its gridlocked. Some times in order to get to a short right turn lane its better to make the move early which can take me into a hashed area.

Who rides along stretches of trunk road where a sign says "Unsuitable for cyclists"? I don't think I ever done that one.

Who stops on a double yellow line to check their route map? Nope, if I stop to read a map I do it in a safe area.

Who passes other vehicles within a Zebra crossing Zig-Zag? I don't think I've had that opportunity but again if it was gridlocked I'd do it.

Who rides at 13 mph in a City Centre 10 mph limit? I'm not aware of any 10mph limits but I have done 20 upwards in a 20mph zone. The FRB path is limited to 15mph for bike, Ive been faster that nearly every time I've crossed it.

Who overtakes a bus as it's leaving a bus stop? If I know a bus is leaving a bus stop and I'm safe to stop I let them out. sometimes though they pull out just as I'm passing or traffics too fast and busy to stop safely.

Who cuts across mini islands when there's no traffic about? You must mean a mini roundabout? I've done that on occasions, sometimes I'll ride the wrong way round the mini roundabout if it means me riding in a straight line.

Who shortcuts down a short one-way street? I've done that, but very rarely.

Who goes around central bollards to overtake? You must mean pinch points because there are no bollards in the middle of a road where I am. And I've never done that.

Who rides through 'hashed' sections of road? Only to turn right.

Who rides along stretches of trunk road where a sign says "Unsuitable for cyclists"? I've never seen any such signs. Are you sure you haven't just made that up?

Who stops on a double yellow line to check their route map? I stop on double yellow lines when I get home, the only other option is to ride on the pavement. When I look out of my living room window I can see double yellow lines all along the road.

Who passes other vehicles within a Zebra crossing Zig-Zag? I don't.

Who rides at 13 mph in a City Centre 10 mph limit? We don't have such silly speed limits in town.

Who overtakes a bus as it's leaving a bus stop? I do but I'm usally going the same speed as the rest of the traffic then.

Who shortcuts down a short one-way street? I've gone down Wheeley's Lane in Birmingham the wrong way a few times to avoid Five Ways RAB.

Who goes around central bollards to overtake? First time last week during rush hour near User's house.

Who rides along stretches of trunk road where a sign says "Unsuitable for cyclists"? Yes - if it's an A road I'm not fussed nowadays. Once wussed out 3 years ago a few hundred metres up the A38 from M5/J4 and turned back.
Wouldn't it be cool if we were allowed to ride on the A38M? Not even scooters can do that.

Who rides at 13 mph in a City Centre 10 mph limit? Never heard of one unless pedestrianised? I've broken plenty of urban 20mph limits.

Who overtakes a bus as it's leaving a bus stop? And pass up the opportunity to draft?

Here's the A46 between Coventry ( Whitley island ) and the M42 junction ( Stonebridge Island ).

It is on the Stratford upon Avon / Measham string of the AUK Midland Mesh.

Of course you can ride through all the slow country lanes, but I save some time slipstreaming the trucks up the A46.

The A46 is relatively flat while the lanes go up and down and up and down.

My time alloted for this string is 3.5 hours. I usually get it done in 2.5 - 3 hours.

The stretch of road has a big sign "Unsuitable for cyclists".

I once heared that any cyclist seen riding up that road would be grabbed by the collar and thrown into Rubery Hill Hospital.

I know that road very well, I drive it regularly, I would never cycle it, its a motorway in all but name. There are many excellent lanes in that area that are very good for cycling, including one that runs parallel to the A46. Twenty to thirty years ago they used to run time trials on the A46, that stopped many years ago, I seem to remember they stopped because it became to dangerous.
