If time permits....Of course you now have to go and find out, right?
Didn’t get down that far. Due to the state of sea and Nearing high tide we scuttled along the sea wall to the Warren immediately from the station, didn’t go further into the town/along the sea-front or take time to look. Saved it for next time!Hows the new raised sea wall going at the boat cove end ?
Fabulous! Apart from a trip to Ikea Exeter and nice pub-lunch with friends most of of our day has been motorways and rain...Nice stroll on Holkham beach in the sunshine with my wife, youngest daughter and Lexie the lurcher. Fabulous, although a bit crowded.

I live in Somerset and knew what was coming. Why do you think I’m in Norfolk! (Mind you, it took me six hours to get here!)Fabulous! Apart from a trip to Ikea Exeter and nice pub-lunch with friends most of of our day has been motorways and rain...
We arrived in Dartmouth this afternoon for a weeks stay over Christmas, the weather has been vile today, However the forecast is much better so should be a nice week.
Pleasantly mild climate in that estuary.
I recall one Christmas in the Dart Marina hotel in which I slept with the room's balcony doors open.
Mention of Dartmouth give an opportunity to mention the Dart estuary being a ria.
A ria is a submerged unglaciated river valley which forms a large estuary with lots of small inlets but no main river feeding it.
Kingsbridge, a few miles further along the coast, is a more extreme example having no river of any size flowing into its estuary.
