Might be time for new cleats...

Do you reckon they're goosed?

Great minds think alike! Having been strangely drawn into my LBS at the weekend, coming out with a new pair of shoes(white:okay:)and a new set of pedals,Ive just introduced the cleats to the shoes(they seem happy!)and had a nice leisurely pedal round the kitchen on the turbo getting things sorted.Anyway, now youve sorted things,I can stop worrying that you might figure on Look North as "squeaky voiced cyclist crashes into Tyne Bridge":okay:

I'd not be so sure about that... I've been riding with that knackered pair for so long that it's like learning all over again! The connection is way more 'heavy' than I stupidly let myself get used to. I will not be making this mistake again...

I'd be more likely to hit the Swing Bridge, I hate cycling over the Tyne, it's almost as scary as the Redheugh! Keep watching Look North, they could use the ratings... :okay:

I have used ones worse than that. I hate thinking they could have gone longer and even have a box of probably knackered ones I refuse to throw away.

^_^ It is a bit odd starting off again with new cleats.and with the new pedals Id to fiddle with the tension as well.Still,I didnt fly off and land in the sink,so I think theyre OK! I can well imagine youre wise to stay clear of the Redheugh Bridge,Tyne Bridge must be fairly hairy as well I should think.Tell you what though,if you had a word with the Port of Tyne, and got a bigger flywheel or whatever they use, could you not use it as a free turbo in good weather? As for Look North,It gets worse,I cant stand that midget that does the sport.Mind you, I lost interest when Trai Anfield packed in,but Mark McAlindon is a Carlisle lad and we went to uni together,so I occasionally watch out of loyalty!:okay:
