Sorry about the slimey mess.@classic33 is the latest member to be awarded the Lifetime Membership Award for services to the museum. His contribution of fresh exhibits has helped it achieve a magnificent girth of 1470mm. Thanks classic33, you're a ledge.

The latest influx, courtesy of Cycle Heaven and @classic33 who made another trip over with a bloody well bin bag full of tubes. What a guy!
It also makes you realise just how many are thrown away though. Something I wasn't quite aware of, scale wise.I keep liking the ball, but .... could those inners not have been mended?
Is it an environmental hostile ball??
I don't get many punctures, the few inners I can't mend are cut up in strips and used as fasteners. It also makes you realise just how many are thrown away though. Something I wasn't quite aware of, scale wise.
I don't get many punctures,
Send them to Mickle!I don't get many punctures, the few inners I can't mend are cut up in strips and used as fasteners.
I have seen abandoned tubes along the cycle paths, probably there are many in bins too.
Wonder if they can go in the plastics recycling bin?
Not down these parts. Extra charge at one stage to dispose of them.Mort, I meant the household blue recycling wheelie bin we get here.
In my area they are for cardboard, plastics and tins.
