mice and other things

We've had them on and off .. they chewed their way into our roof through our brand new soffits. They make a huge racket when they are there. We use an electronic deterrant ... makes some noise ... it worked for a good long while but I heard those noises again just the other day.
I like the idea of chilli powder .. I might try putting some down in the attic near where they come in.
I think they are nice things when in a wood - anywhere near my house ... then they are just rats with overgrown tails!.
