The only minor downside is the quality of my input will no doubt take a downturn as the frequency increases. My analysis is that even though the quality will be 24.6% less it's still 2678953.57% more awesome than the 2nd best poster on here.

Oh, I don't know - it's a damn sight better than the spite fest this thread appears to have degenerated with such inevitable rapidity.

The thing is, it's July, so people are off on their holidays. You don't need any other explanation, malign or otherwise. People leave the site for their own reasons. Sometimes they come back. Sometimes they don't. But it's their decision. If they don't want to say, well, they're perfectly entitled to their privacy. I hope they come back, and not just Rockymountain (though he deserves a special mention for managing to mention Immanuel Kant in a post!).

For what (little) it's worth, I'll miss User's insight and wit. But certainly not his gratuitous habit of vicous insults which are almost always uncalled for. Just as well there's been none of that here, eh....
