Who led the Pedant’s revolt! Can you not have a pedants collective then.??
Like the Tolpuddle martyrs - only slightly less pitchforky .
More a gathering of precisionists.
A Pettifogger of Pedants perhaps?
I think so. I’d love to be a Pedant, but my grammer and speeling are not up to the job, innit....If you want to be a pedant you have to get it right. 'Your' should have been in inverted commas.
Can I moan about the declining standards of modern pedantry?
They’d make far more sense than many <<he moaned>>I could get them to come on here and do some moaning about it .
Tapping away with their pecky little beaks.

I would think the cross product would feature somewhere. Are we adding or multiplying the moaning?
This thread (started by @roubaixtuesday - another 'shout out for them) is about moaning about moaners and the community should resist its hijacking by pedants and moaners about pedants and pedantry. 'Is it only I' but thread diversion is such a distraction, like, just saying?
Off topicSurely you don't imagine, that I didn't set that one up for you especially dear heart.??
That's another 'affordable and accessable' hobby..
Pedantry
Should that be spelt CycleChat? ...... it doesn’t have a space, actually.Beware the idle pedant
Full of woe and morbid drear,
Thank God there's none on Cycle Chat,
... let's have another beer.

I am going to suggest that the question mark ends the sentence. If I am correct you should have spelled "it" with a capital letter. Also those full stops are superfluous.
I’m going to start a Pedant’s Club (or should that be Pedants’ Club?). At our first meeting we’ll moan about missing Oxford commas.
