Hi looking for some feedback on Merida any views ?

Will be parting with my C2W Cert any time soon (£1000 budget) 95% certain it's a Cyclocross style which meets my requirements looking at this make.

Probably the 2nd biggest bike manufacturer in the world after Giant and they own 49% of Specialized

So what were saying is a £1000 Merida cycle is going to be (should be) the same as a Specialized, Boardman or Giant bike in build quality terms, the component parts speak for them selves and it's then just down to aesthetics of the final finish and presentation for personal preference

I was looking at the Merida bikes in my LBS last week, but the frames are too compact for me as I'm long in the body, but short in the leg. Great value machines though, and very good spec.

I've always advised when people ask 'which one is better , which one should i buy ?'...TBH there isnt a whole lot of difference between most major manufacturers bikes within a similar pricepoint....its down to any slight gain in spec...and the colourscheme
And i'm not joking...i've rejected good bikes based on the colourscheme, you want to like the look of the thing at the very least.

Yep that's hit the nail on the head I would have the cannondale at £850 in Evans but I don't like the brushed aluminium look, it feels a bit shallow but their you go I want it to look right,

looks like I have a winner
