Same here but I do enjoy stopping and looking at the things you spot on route no matter how many times you ride the same route there is quite often something you have not noticed before

MBIFO the Remembrance Day Parade in Hamtun Town this morning.

Plaque says: Near this bridge 30 hop-pickers were drowned in the river Medway in a tragic accident on the 20th October 1853. They are buried in St Mary's churchyard, Hadlow.

This is known as the Hartlake disaster, named after the Hartlake bridge from which the waggon containing the victims fell.
