Mars 4.0 / Mars 3.0 Rear LED's

Got a mars 4.0 as a back up back up light. Don't think there's any point posting photos after fossy's. It's smaller than I expected but kicks out a much more concentrated red beam than I expected. It's brighter than the cateye EL-1000 by quite a long way, although the luminous area must be about a quarter of that of the cateye.

I got a Mars 4.0 as well, damned bright. I think every owner has done the 'blind yourself with red red light' thing at least once (or twice if they were 'just checking' how bright it was again )

I think I stupidly done the compare superflash to the mars test . I think the red dot from the mars stayed in my eyes for longer, it is bright

I still check to see it's bright....doh....spots for ages..........
