Given that the bedding in has to be done on tarmac and is to help seat the studs properly so they don't get ripped out as easily when they hit bumpy and rutted ice & snow, then yes, I think you chose the wrong route, you muppet. :biggrin: :biggrin:

Well, I got an E-mail from Schwalbe and they are sending me some replacement studs FOC, so big thumbs up to them :thumbsup:
The guy there did say they were a bit fiddly to fit, I'll let you know when they arrive and have spent the day trying :biggrin:

I'm surprised you lost many - I haven't lost a single stud on my snow studs in two winters.

I shall pop them on the MTB soon (ish) !
