Manufacturers sticker

Hi all does anybody know how to get rid of the manufacturers white sticker off a frame without leaving any residue or marking the frame in anyway. Cheers in advance

What material is the frame?

So long as it is NOT carbon, just go to your automotive local body shop supplier, and ask for a "toffee wheel"

It is a big rubber disk that is used (low speed, with water), to remove adhesives from car body work. Be careful not to use too high of a speed or you can burn the paint. But will work perfectly, when used correctly.

I always found just peeling it off and a bit of white spirit to remove the gluey residue- it won't damage it apart from the rest of the bike will now look dirty compared to the newly cleaned part.

Might try a product called Goof-Off, I find it works for many stubborn sticker adhesives.

Although I shudder to think what pro-strength of this stuff entails.

Heat it with a hairdryer while peeling it off, then white spirit on any remaining goo. Hopefully it won't have a clearcoat over the top

wire wool? Make sure you scrub really hard though

As said warm the sticker up before peeling it ...
if not its a good enough excuse to buy a new Frame/bike

Little sticker with frame number don't know why they even bother putting it on in the first place
