Is it bad to read this post with a clipped accent? Oh sorry, I'll cut short this response then......

It's no good beating about the bush when you buy items like this!

I sometimes like to keep the down below bits trimmed. I have used hair clippers before (with the grade 2 attachment), I've also used modern multi-blade raors (a bit more risky but good for brush cutting, just don't go too far unless you want an itchy regrowth). The small type battery clippers that the barber uses around the neckline are also quite good, but I used to use my wife's and we are separated now so I didn't buy another pair. I don't think it is rude or disgusting to talk about maintaining one's hair if the question is asked. Just don't use an electric shaver.

When I was due to have my vasectomy, I was asked to clear the runway down under. I used my Phillips shaver. Due to the inconsistent and much more sensitive surface down there, much more of the folicle protrudes and is therefore going to end up inside the shaver. It was very painful!

This is very true. There's also something decidedly unsettling about totally bald adult genitals, for me at least. Maintaining your thatch is fine, but a full scalping is totally unnecessary.

A friend of mine was adamant that going totally bald 'made it look bigger', and went on about this at great length (heh) like he'd invented the idea. Cruelly, I waited until we were with a group of friends, one of whom he was trying to impress, to pipe up with "Mate, surely having no hair there is just going to make it even more obvious that you've got a tiny cock?"

I used to use my hair clippers but they're corded so not ideal, and a wee bit scary. (I got the odd nick).
I now use a cordless Philips beard trimmer, they're pretty much ideal for it.

And I dislike the phrase "manscaping", it implies that it's somehow a "male only" concept. You're not modelling your nut sack on Rylan's ultra HD face necessarily, there's nothing wrong with keeping your body hair tidy and nor is it a preserve of one sex.
