The bit I ride is fine. Other parts are hit and miss. I avoid those.
I'm going to stick up for the floating bus stop previously mentioned but another on the same route (Sainsbury's Fallowfield) is positively awful.
Depends how fast you are cycling. I am happy to cycle relatively slowly (my 3 miles takes 20 mins) and I think the new infra will be largely positive. Some stupid points, but generally better (and in some cases much better) than previous.
Yes, there are potholes around, but the council generally fixes them pretty quickly when pointed out.
Drivers in my part of town are also generally OK, occasional twat and regular not-paying-attentions, but by and large fine. Also have no issues with the vast majority of bus drivers in my area, although I did have to complain about two recently.
To the others complaining - I hope you are at least trying to engage with organisations for change - GMCC, GM Love your Bike, Cycle Forum, GMC's cycling champion etc etc. The more people complaining and reviewing plans etc the better the outcome will be.
