Man Electrocuted!

I heard of a tragic story related to me a few years ago by a person who was on the spot. Apparently a fairground worker on the waltzers went for a leak under the the ride whilst it was underway. As it was pitch black under there, he didn't realise that he was about to piddle on a live 440v terminal. It was terminal. Poor chap.

When I was in school I heard the one about a young chap who pee'ed on the electrified third rail (on a railway).

my brother shoved paperclips in a plug in DT and flicked the switch

minor burns (bit of black) to his hand for a week or so and that was it.

My sister did something very similar. She couldn't pull out a plug, so used a pair of scissors to prise it out! Predicatable results!

Plugs have a plastic sleeve on the pins now so that this doesn't happen.
