Major breadwinner?

My wife doesn't do any paid work, which leaves me to bring in the dosh. I yearn for 1 month where I don't go into the red at the end.

Wifey currently earns about 1.5 times my wage, but she's being laid off at the end of the year. BA are having a massive middle management cull.

Wifey earns more than me.Never been a prob.It's a team thing.But the redundancy money that came my way.Paid off the mortgage and funded the loft conversion and other alterations.A little bonus coming this way next year.By paying off the mortgage,the policy becomes a profit and not a loss.So a bit of it is coming back.

I'm quite surprised how many of the guys on here earn less than their partners.

Before any of you get on your high horses I don't think there is anything wrong with it and I don't have an opinion on it. I also know that different people have different situations, I'm just surprised. That's all. All my friends and family I can think of, the men are the main breadwinners.
