It's pretty good but I would say it ranks behind the park tools big blue book and the zinn maintenance.

The older I get, the faster I used to be ...
Good basic book - but not at that price! Amazon were quoting £10.49, but are out of stock at the moment. I also visit the Park Tool website and look up the information I need and then print out the relevant pages - the information is constantly updated, and you don't have to worry about black greasy fingermarks on the pages of your nice new book

As the others have said and that is a ripoff price too, so stay clear, even Halfrauds do not sell it for that price.

I have a few maintenance books, but the best by a long way I find is the "Bicycling Magazine's illustrated Bicycle Maintenance" as it is very well illustrated as the title says and clear, simple instructions, I bought my copy for £4.99 in one of the discount bookshops that you find in most towns and cities. The Parks blue book is very good, but I find that it can sometimes get a bit technical at times and unless you know what your doing to start with, it can sometimes go over your head with detail so it has to be carefully read.

Was thinking of the Hynes manual too, but had heard its a bit padded out!

The park book was the next favourite, but am going to hang fire until I've fully explored the two links above....Cheers
