I switch between #1 and #2 but I once scared myself on a commute home when I realised that I had ridden 10 miles, climbed a steep hill and crossed 2 major junctions and had no recollection of any of it! I'd done the whole thing on autopilot in my own little world with traffic hurtling around me. I think that was a bit TOO unfocussed! :eek:
I've done that many times, but I also realised that I was still paying attention at each part of the ride, and never at risk of endangering myself or others, it's just that my musings tended to take priority over my short-term memory. :rolleyes:
So not maintaining focus wasn't that much of an issue... :crazy::wacko:

Having looked at my local clubs "chain gang" I realise Vickster is trying to kill me off so that I don't bug you guys ( and guyesses?) anymore :smile:
