Sad times. Disgraceful that this is being allowed to happen up and down the country IMO. Another example of lack of investment in the future and those most in need being hit hardest by this austerity b*llocks.

No sign of magazines available though that I can see
If they used to stock paper mags, chances are they'll now have e-mags instead. I expect it is probably decided by each library service independently according to their budget. But worth an ask, especially if they are now going 100% online.

Not as unusual as you might think,my 96 year old mother watches TdeF,Giro,etc avidly.And Superbikes,Indeed if its 2 wheeled,powered or not,she watches! Soaps? Cooking?Nice,warm cuddly programmes for old folk?No thanks.:okay:Mind you,she spent a large part of her early life riding one or the other,bike or motorbike.

I used to get CW every week from the local supermarket, fancied other mags but couldn't be bothered to go and get them and pay.
Then last month I found Readily, 7.99 a month download and read on the iPad. Cheaper than buying the mag and less hassle, plus I get to read a number of mags I wouldn't have bothered to go and buy, plus some mags I didn't know existed.
