Cycling Active for me too. i ride mainly mountain bikes but love the down to earth approach of this mag, covers all areas of cycling , road , off road and fitness.

I'd argue too that Cycling Active is probably the best all round at the moment; I find a lot of their journalism rather trivial though - stuff like their recent article comparing cups of coffee.

Being seriously addicted to coffee I liked that article very much!

The piece about cycling though farms and the countryside was tedious as hell though!

You could join the CTC and get the Bi monthly Cycle magazine as one of the benefits, that is quite a good read. I have read Cycling+ for many years and I think it still is quite a good maggy, but it has got a bit repetetive recently. Maybe i have been reading it for too long. +1 for Cycling Active as well.

I like Cycling Active, great value, can spend all evening reading it. The only negative is the product (not bike) reviews which appear to be nearly useless.

Yeah, being new to road cycling I've only bought a few magazines so far: Cycling +, Cycling Active and C Weekly.

I think I prefer Active to + mainly for the reasons already mooted. However, they did manage to annoy me by printing a massive publicity piece for Sky masquerading as legitimate editorial content (the article about the woman getting fit by commuting to her job in the Sky office).

I may buy it again but purposely boycotted the following month. If I wanted to line Rupert Murdoch's pockets, I'd buy The Times.
