Mad new cyclist after a 40 year absence

Hi folks..just thought I would show you keen cyclists a link to an amazing story on a Motoring forum web site.
It's basically the story of a 60 year old guy to cycle 120 miles in 1 day after an absence of 40 years in the saddle..all without a single mile of training and no padded shorts..he's Bonkers!

I just read his ride/walk report. He is a bit bonkers, he could have killed himself doing that. I'd have got off and pushed up Snake Pass as well, I think.
No lights though!!
