I am a new convert to chainsaw oil, bit sticky to start with, but with regular Mickling is no problem keeping clean, buy some wet wipes when you get your oil

3-in-1 is great. Smeared on by the bucketload. Because it gets clarted EVERYWHERE and coats the bike in a layer of greasy muck that, when the bike is then abandoned in the garage and salvaged by someone else years later, protects it remarkably.

Of course if you actually want to RIDE the thing.....

Finish Line Green (cross country), designed for wet mtb action, tends to survive wet radie days pretty well.
what i use all year round after a good weekly clean with degreaser and gt85 i mickle the chain with the green stuff and it last all week in normally conditions if i have two days of wet rides (4 rides ) i'll re apply and i have chains lasting 3/3500 miles easy
