Loving the tautology there...
Explain how a chain cleaner is supposed to be messier than wiping a dirty chain with rags repeatedly then?

I didn't say anything about chain cleaners. But if your new Sky wizz-bang lube is so good, how come you still need to run your chain through something that looks like a child's toy..?

Well you chimed in with a reply on it, so would Usually expect some sort of benefit to the thread.

In reality, you just did as usual by trying to argue the toss without any added value. Disappointed that you didn't quite some 1952 study that proved that wiping with a rag was 82.58327% cleaner than a chain cleaner. Study found on Google, without any hands on experience of course. ;)

Hi:hello:they say the chain cleaner gos in the rollers on chain so when you wash and rub chain after useing a cleaner there is still lots of chain cleaner on chain and it will mix with the lube thats why they dont use chain cleaner they rub chain clean with rag then apply lube im going to try it I will say the chain cleaner do go under chain rollers and dont wash off rubbing chain with rag after chain cleaner will not dry chain fully as it gets under rollers adding your lube then mix with cleaner

In terms of cleaning if you have not got the time the oil and rag wiping method is the quickest and best.

If you have the time and facilities then the best ways I've found are to either;

Use an aerosol can of automotive brake cleaner to wash away any residual lube but more importantly any grit. Let the brake cleaner solvent evaporate then use your choice of lubricant.

or

Use your jet washer to blast the chain clean, then blow it dry with an air line and then lubricate it.

I ride a lot off road and by bikes get very dirty so I use the jet washer a fair bit.

Your English is very good but, so that I (and maybe others) can properly understand you, please would you consider writing in sentences,
'Very good' is a bit of a stretch.
