Last question. Am I right in thinking that a 10 speed triple chainset, with appropriate BB, from pretty much any manufacturer will more or less work with my shifters and front mech?

See earlier post. According to Campag, the length of the BB depends on the seat tube diameter (I guess it is something to do with the range of movement of the mech which is dependent on how far it is from the centre line i.e. the mech sits further out on a wider seat tube). Also Campag square tapers are ISO standard and Shimano etc are JIS, so it's best to use Campag BBs. I used the Veloce one with the Race triple and it was fine. I think the offset on the (old) Centaur and above BBs are different and not suitable for the Race chainsets.

I have a 105 chainset on HTII working in perfect harmony with Veloce FD and shifters, so I would say yes.
