After breaking a rear drive side spoke, I had it replaced and the wheel trued by my lbs. Work was done under warranty as the wheel is on a 5 month old bike. However after riding the repaired wheel for around 50 miles (not hitting abnormal potholes or anything) one of the spokes completely lost tension, and another came very loose, putting the wheel in quite a bad buckle. I don't have much experience truing wheels, but was able to re-tension the bad spokes to approx correct tension to get home.however this didn't fix the buckle problem. Should I be taking this wheel back to the shop and demanding they re-do the truing?

Ok that's what I'll do then, guess this could be down to either bad truing/build job or some other fault on the wheel. Not sure why it broke a spoke in the first place, but am pretty certain a wheel shouldn't go out of true this quick!

Re-tensioning the one or two spokes is not enough. You need to have all spokes balanced to prevent one spoke with very high tension and the next with very low tension.

Giving them another go, allegedly the chap who worked on it is an "expert wheel builder" and they seemed quite surprised this had happened. Hoping he can fix it properly this time! Will find out later when I take it out, shall check tensions before and after my ride!

Wheel has been sent back on a warranty claim, they couldn't get it to tension up properly. Annoying as it's the only wheel I can use with the bike (11sp requires longer freehub body)
