reflectors came off ages ago and no chain guard on bike - you need to go to Specsavers LOL bottle is difficult i have to have a pit stop !!
Might have been refering to the chain/wheel protector on the rear wheel. I do that anyway, usually at (or rather just before a junction, when safe to do so).

It'll need a cassette removal tool...basically a big socket (sometimes with a spindle in the middle) and also a thing called a chain whip (a spanner with a chain bit on) both are good tools to have in the shed as they will aid cleaning and maintenance. Use one against the other to remove the block. You wont need both to replace it as the ratchet on the hub does the job of the chain whip.

I have red reflectors on mine, incorporated in the rear light, also one on the mudguard when fitted, all helps to be seen by blind drivers. I though proper cyclists were supposed to be responsible. Yea a bit like the proper cyclist I saw last night without lights, O I forgot it's summer (nearly) you don't need lights at this time of year.;)

Oh I always have lights, day or night (perhaps not fitted but in the bag) and reflectors are a very, very good idea. But they are still the first thing that get removed....sorry, just keepin' it real.

You would be surprised (or maybe not) just how many proper cyclist don't have lights though, mind so many others don't either.

You need a 'sidecage' - you can pull the bottle out sideways. Beware though - some are easy enough to pull out, but really tricky to get the bottle back in . One of the easiest to use I have found is the Giant Sidecar

The red reflector on the rear would meet part of the legal requirement for night riding here, if you don't have a light. I don't have a reflector because I don't have room with my saddlebag. I would have one if I had room. I do put a red light on my rear saddlebag. I don't know if you have to have a red one there or not.

The plastic chain guard (aka here as a dork disk) will come off with a pair of tin snips if you have some. Just don't get hurt trying to get it off.

I don't go out at night, (apart from Halloween !!!) so shouldnt be a problem. As for dork disc i'll have to get somebody to remove it for me at some time, meanwhile i'll just pretend i can't see it LOL
