Just built my hack up with schwalbe blizzards in blue, went out on it today and had one or two alarming lacks of directional stability, the half inch of fresh snow probably didn't help much. They seemed to roll ok though once out onto the clear roads. But for £14.00 a pair from somewhere on ebay I think they are alright.
