If you want to take it off road think about what size tyres you can fit and if possible get reasonable quality hydraulic disc brakes. Also think about the gearing you need.

My Diverge works well on and off road but will only allow up to around 33mm tyres if you allow for mud.
Thanks Kajjal, You Tubed a few reviews for the Diverge and i looked online at the Diverge Elite DSW, phoned Evans to see if they had any in stock but would be an order in with a deposit just to look at it as for some reason its not a bike theyre allowed to display. Thought they could go to 35+mm..? Personally, i'd like the option of being able to fit at least 35mm if the ride required it. In terms of gearing, I quite like the 50/34 11/32 set up on my road bike with the range it offers me.

Is that the titanium Pickenflick?, looks tasty either way. They do have some nice bikes at Planet X
Yes it is the titanium Pickenflick I got the frame with the transfers in the box, so fitted them differently to how they normally look.

It depends how much clearance you want, if you only ride off road in the dry you can fit bigger tires. have a look on the internet for photo's etc. on peoples experience.

Hi folks. Just thought i'd provide an update on where i'm at. I've gone completely leftfield and purchased the Felt V55. Liked the look of the V85 previously, but found what i think is a great deal on the higher spec Felt V55. Arrived today, will be test ridden tomorrow all being well.
