I used to happily toddle along on my "racer" no hands as a kid
Managed a "wee go" no hands on the road bike recently but too old and "wise" now.

Mostly round our way it's hooded little gobbos straight after pulling a wheelie down the centre line of busy roads.

I also did that as a kid....no problem.
Dont feel able to do it on my road or hard tail.
I recently borrowed a Ridley gravel bike and it felt so stable....I was able to do it on that (for a few seconds).

Easy enough on the flat and downhill. Uphill is trickier though.

It's a dawdle. The faster you're going, the easier it is. Gyroscope effect or something.

I used to do it as a kid for as long as I could. Now, on way more expensive bicycles (and with the handling being a bit more squirelly than your average Raleigh Grifter), I'm nervous enough when I'm reaching in the back pocket for a gel, thank you very much.
