yes I imagine their electricity costs have halved and with the end of the Covid rates reliefs etc its an absolute breeze now.

But rents are generally fixed for the lease or min 5 years, and if they have a review clause, often upward only. It will take a long time for reduced demand to work through all the lease renewal cycles.

I doubt that landlords will just take pity on tenants and drop prices cos times is hard. For that to happen you'd have to have the demand for property to fall, and for that to happen you'd need some businesses to go bust and vacate their premises ... oh, wait.
