I have just returned to cycling after quite a few years, my problem is that things have changed a lot since I was last on the bike 15 years ago with my vitus 979 which I have just got back out of the loft, covered in dust but still looking good is a bit out of date.
I have bought some look 247 pedals to replace the straps and clip pedals but unsure now which shoes and cleats I need, will it just be any spd cleats and do all the modern shoes fit these, I have some good condition addidas shoes but they have the old style cleats on for the toe clips with three holes in, would a cleat fit these to fit the look 247 pedals ? any help would be appreciated, many thanks.
