You seem to be enjoying the ride! Congratulations
You are listening to your body and I think you'll be fine. I found once I got to a threshold of being comfortable with 20 mile rides I could really step it up occasionally after that. But everyone is different, so listen to your body and remember rest is a positive thing. BTW as I upped my time on the bike, the weight loss also grew.
One other thing is to prepare for commuting next winter. Mudguards, waterproofs and great gloves etc. I know several people who tell me they were a cyclist, took a winter off and somehow never got it back out. They then lose confidence and see getting back to where they were as too big a hurdle.
