Some might like to look at riding the Crab & Winkle Trail to Canterbury, then taking trains to Ashford/Tonbridge from there.

saw the international space station going over after the village hall breakfast, so someone claimed, was that last year or the year before?

have done crab and winkle in the past; climb up to kentish remoteness; then downhill to canterbury; engine shed at canterbury west does fine farmers market and used to have a restaurant doing very good food sourced/sauced from the market.
the first part of the ride is fairly gravelly as i remember; not for your best road bike perhaps

@bobcolover you have paid your subs for the next 12 months and can now cancel the subscription payment if you want to. Your subs have been paid for a year. But then if you want to do a ride you have to set it up again in 12 months. Most just leave it there in case they want to do a ride in future.
